The incumbent President of the United States of America is widely regarded by so many people as the most powerful man in the world. As the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of America, he has the Navy, Army and Airforce at his beck and call. Including the Police and other security agencies in the country.
Put together, there is hardly any kind of ammunition you can think of that these forces under the control of the President do not have in their custody.
The President may not have up to $100 billion stashed somewhere in his personal account. But he certainly does have control over ALL the resources of America as a nation.
Now imagine that US President coming to the streets of Nigeria to seek for financial assistance and protection in the arms of local phone thieves, pick-pockets and jobless gangsters. The kind that depends on what they snatch from people to survive. Sounds absurd right?
Well as absurd as that is, it is NOTHING compared to a Christian on his knees, bowing down to a merely designed firewood or moulded mud (an idol) and asking for financial help or protection from it.
It takes epic foolishness to believe you need to wear different amulets, perform rituals, rub charms on your body and immerse yourself heavily into voodoo or “juju” to be protected and prosper materially when the GOD of the whole universe lives in you.
2Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
2Co 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
A Christian must know that an idol is nothing but carefully carved firewood or moulded sand. Something you leave outside the sun and it cannot even help itself to the shade when it starts raining. Wherever you drop it is where it will stay for as long as you leave it there. Cast out the evil spirits that operate around it and it is all ready to be used to roast meat or prepare a very nice meal. How can something like that ever help anyone? This is why the scriptures never minced words when it said an idol is Nothing!
1Co 8:4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
1Co 8:5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
1Co 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
There is ONLY one God and those moulded mud and carved woods are not Him. Do not let any man brainwash you, you don’t need to “help” yourself by visiting witchdoctors or participating in voodoo as a Christian.
As the man in Christ, the power of God is already resident and at work in you. And that is enough. It is all you need to be successful in ministry, in the supernatural and life in general.
1Jn 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Let no man deceive you by telling you every minister of the gospel out there that is really manifesting the supernatural is heavily into “juju” and so there is nothing wrong with it. Let no man brainwash you by making you believe you need to “help” God perform the supernatural sometimes by indulging in voodoo. After all, we are in the era of grace so anything goes. God forbid!
Whatever power lies in those things is a miniature compared to what you have right now within you. The worst is, those stuffs will fail you at the least expected time and bring you much sorrow and disgrace.
Instead of soiling your hands with such fetish practices, you can learn and master how the power of God in you truly operates. Then you go ahead to use it to bring glory to God and enlarge His kingdom. Is there still hope for believers who have indulged in occult practices, rituals, voodoo and charms?
Of course there is. God’s mercy reaches out even to the most sinful man out there, including believers.
Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Eph 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
The Word also says nothing can ever separate us from the love of God which we have in Christ Jesus.
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Persuaded by the love of God, we encourage Christians who are participating in these Satanic practices just like the Corinthian church to quickly repent, renounce and shun such things, and not take the goodness and mercy of God for a ride.
Rom 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
The power of God is all you need to do His work (ministry) and is all you need to be protected from harm. Don’t let any man tell you otherwise. In Christ, you have more than enough power for life, success, and the supernatural.
I hope this blesses you. Say “in Christ I am divinely protected. Isaiah 54:17 is my reality today. I walk effortlessly in the supernatural by the power of God. I am prosperous and highly successful. Ministry, business, financial prosperity and so on is easy for me.”
